We study these figures not to worship them, but to understand the tools they left us. How does our current conduct measure up to the structural standards they established?

Historical analysis at Real Patriot follows a principle-first approach: we identify the constitutional or civic principle at stake, then examine how historical actors applied (or violated) that principle, then ask what the precedent means for us today.

Principle Over Preference

Our methodology requires that we apply the same standard regardless of which political team benefits. A power that is wrong when used by opponents is wrong when used by allies. Consistency is the test of principle.

Historical Honesty

We do not sanitize the past. The Founders had contradictions. The Constitution had compromises. Acknowledging this honestly makes our understanding stronger, not weaker. You cannot defend what you will not examine.
